Advisory Jirga starts in a Peaceful Environment

Advisory Jirga started their work in a peaceful environment on Thursday.

 
Kabul has been witness of unprecedented security measures in the past few days. There have been widespread presence of Security forces on Kabul streets. These preparations have been going on for a number of days, with increase in the measures today, as it was the first day of the Loya Jirga.

Although, residents of Kabul consider the blockage of roads as the reason for rush hours, they have praised the measures taken by the security forces and have said that, Afghan security forces have now the ability to maintain security.
Ahmad Shah, resident of Kabul has said that, "Their work shows that we can maintain security for all parts of the country after 2014".
"They did a very good job of maintaining security", Mangal, another resident of Kabul.
Meanwhile, spokesman for Security Commission of Loya Jirga has said that, a number of groups in the country tried to insecure the Jirga environment, but were prevented by the Afghan Security forces.
Sediq Sediqqi, Spokesman for Security Commission of Loya Jirga has said that: "Enemies did their best and are trying to destabilize the security but what is important to us is the cooperation of people. The measures that we had taken, worked well and we have good results, these measures will continue".
Spokesman for Security Commission of Advisory Loya Jirga further added that Afghan Security Forces are completely ready to stand against any terrorist threats.

It is reported that the Advisory Loya Jirga will continue for another three days.
